Hey ihr beiden… es hat uns viel Spaß gemacht mit euch zu sein und mehr über Deutschland zu lernen! Den Kindern hat es sehr gefallen! Sie haben nicht genügend Gelegenheiten an solchen interaktiven Programmen teilzunehmen. Es freut mich, dass es auch euch Spaß gemacht hat. I was thrilled to see this in our local Newspaper. As a German born immigrant, I wish I would have know about the Deutschmobil coming to town as I would have loved to see it and help in promoting German language in our community. Hello all

I am sending this on behalf of my LWGA0A German class

During this afternoon’s German class a student was googling for ecko fresh videos and found you. We had no idea you were here or in Sudbury of all places this week. (its only 1 1/2hrs away)
On a dare i initiated an introductory German class at our school this semester. We have had spanish in the past but that’s over. Die Leherin ist in Ruhestand gegangen.
Anyway the class was excited. They took it upon themselves to write you a letter. At this point I don’t care if they say “ihr kann” or “ihr könnt” that they can manage the basics after two months is all I want.
I have posted their little letter activity and incognito photos if you check the links.

If at all on the way back you might stop by it would do much to keep the program going next year. I see you will go to Westmount secondary in Hamilton. This is my nephew’s class.

If it really isn’t possible this time around we will keep watching if we are here next year.

Tolle Idee!!! Aber schade, dass es so ein Deutschmobil nicht auch hier in the USA gibt…. leider scheint hier im Westen der Staaten Spanisch als Fremdsprache immer mehr ueberhand zu nehmen, und trotz der Bemuehungen der Lehrer verschwinden die anderen Fremdsprachen aus Geldmangel immer mehr!!! Wir brauchen dringend Hilfe um das Interesse der deutschen Sprache auch hier aufrecht zu erhalten!

Great website and a wonderful project!

I really like the format and I am sure a lot of kids will have a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Europe and Germany.

Would it be possible to add a section with your next stops (dates and locations)? There are a lot people out there who might be interested. I personally spoke to a few parents and had only positive responses and I am sure a bit more publicity couldn’t hurt.
